Pricing

You pay for the software. Never for the collections.

Most fee platforms price as a percentage of the money that moves through them — which means their income grows with your fees, forever. Tensionmukti is priced like what it is: software. This page explains the structure completely, so the only thing left to discuss is the number for your size.

The structure

Three commitments before any number

No cut of what you collect

Students pay into your own Razorpay account. There is no point in that flow where we could take a percentage — the architecture forbids it, not just the price list.

Every module included

One product, whole. Nothing on the features page is an add-on, an upgrade or an enterprise tier. Your size sets the price; it never sets your permissions.

Nothing bills on its own

No card on this site, no trial that converts by surprise, no per-student meter ticking upward. A written quote, agreed first, is the only way billing starts.

The reason for this structure is the same reason the product exists: an academy's fee flow should belong to the academy. A vendor whose revenue is a percentage of yours has opinions about your money; a vendor who sells software has to earn a flat fee by being useful. We chose the second business on purpose, and the architecture — your Razorpay, your Zoho Books, your WhatsApp number, your export button — makes it a commitment we cannot quietly walk back.

Compare honestly

The real cost of 'free' fee collection

Financing platforms often look free: no licence, quick onboarding, the institute even gets fees upfront. The price is inside the flow — typically two to five percent of every rupee collected, forever, plus a fee history that lives in their system. On ₹50 lakh of annual collections, three percent is ₹1.5 lakh a year, every year, growing exactly as fast as you do. Against that, a software price is boring — which is the point. Run the comparison at the size you plan to be, not the size you are; the full axis-by-axis table is on the homepage, and the questions to ask any vendor — us included — are in the buyer's guide.

  • Ask any platform: who holds the collected money? If the answer is not 'your own gateway account', you are the counterparty, not the customer.
  • Ask: what exactly is the all-in cost at twice your current size? A percentage compounds; a software price does not.
  • Ask: what does leaving look like, concretely? Insist on an export and on ledgers you already own — then test the answer before you depend on it.

What the quote covers

Everything, set up by hand

When we quote your size, the number covers the whole product and the whole setup: the account configured by hand, your Razorpay and Zoho Books connected and verified, batches created with their fees and grace days, your roster imported, your team added with the right roles, and the reminder engine live on your own WhatsApp and email. Most academies go from first conversation to collecting through the system within a working day — and nothing on this website takes a card number at any point.

What you run on afterwards is yours by construction: Razorpay's gateway charges are billed by Razorpay to you, Interakt and SMTP are your accounts at their prices, and none of it passes through us to be marked up. The software price is the whole of what you pay us — which makes the total cost of ownership a sum you can actually do.

The next step

Tell us your size, get a number in writing

The quote conversation is short and concrete: roughly how many active students, how many staff, how you collect today, and whether you already run Razorpay and Zoho Books. You get a firm figure in writing, a walkthrough against your own fee structure if you want one, and no follow-up drip if the answer is no. Start here or write to hello@tensionmukti.online — either reaches a person, not a sequence.

Questions

Pricing, asked and answered

Why is there no price table on this page?

Because one honest number does not exist yet across every size of academy, and we would rather quote you straight than publish a table designed to be escaped from. A 60-student coaching class and a 2,000-student institution are different amounts of work to run; tell us roughly where you sit and you get a firm quote — in writing, before anything is set up, with nothing billing until you agree.

Do you take any percentage of the fees we collect?

No, structurally no. Students pay into your own Razorpay account and your ledger is your own Zoho Books — there is no point in the money's path where we could take a cut even if we wanted to. This is the single biggest difference from financing platforms, whose two-to-five percent of every collection grows with your success forever.

Are features gated by plan?

No. There is one product: enrolment, every collection channel, automated reminders, GST invoicing, settlements, cash handovers, roles, audit trail, the student portal and the field links — every organisation gets all of it. What scales with your size is the price, not your permissions.

Are there per-student or per-transaction charges from you?

Not from us. Growing from 80 students to 300 does not change what the software is — we would rather quote you once than bill you for succeeding. Razorpay's own gateway charges and your Interakt and SMTP costs are yours, on your own accounts, exactly as they would be without us — we neither mark them up nor touch them.

Is there a lock-in or a long contract?

The commercial terms are agreed in your quote, but the structural answer matters more: there is no data lock-in to enforce a contract with. Your payments were always in your Razorpay, your invoices always in your Zoho Books, and the owner can export everything we hold, any time, without asking us. We have to be worth keeping, monthly, on merit.

What does getting started cost?

Setup is part of the deal, not a line item: we configure the account by hand — usually within a working day — so your Razorpay, Zoho Books, WhatsApp and email are wired correctly before a single student sees a payment link. There is no card to enter on this website and nothing that starts billing on its own.

Get the number for your size.

A short conversation, a firm quote in writing, and nothing that starts billing on its own. The software model only works if we are worth keeping — that is the deal.
